ABOUT OUR DOODLES

From the beginning, we take great care in nurturing our puppies with love and attention. We initiate their Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises as early as day three, followed by socialization training at seventeen days old. These specialized programs are designed to activate their neurological system earlier than usual, slowly introducing them to real-life situations (like car rides) in a supportive, stress-free environment (like with momma bear around). The long-term benefits for you and your puppy are evident in your new family member's trainability, emotional regulation, and ability to handle stress responses later in life. In other words, your puppy has a head start on their best life.

We know that bringing home a new puppy is a big decision that brings about even bigger life changes. We want the experience of bringing your puppy home to be seamless and joyful. That’s why we prioritize a smooth transition from litter to life at home, ensuring our puppies are nurtured with love and equipped with the skills they need to reach their full potential and share endless happiness to your family.

To make the transition even easier, we offer a 4-week Head Start Training Program to ensure a smoother adjustment for you and your new puppy.

4 Week Head Start Training Program

At eight weeks, puppies are eligible to join the 4-Week Head Start Training Program. Our trainer works on crate comfort, potty, and leash training, introducing basic obedience commands, working on manners, and providing puppies with quality socialization & exposure opportunities.

Begins Feb 15 - March 15, 2024 - $1000 + HST

  • Your puppy will learn proper manners, and default behaviours, like sitting to get something they want. They will be introduced to basic commands like their name, sit, stay, down, and recall training. We will also begin working on commands like heel and place.

Additionally, we will actively work on promoting positive behaviours such as reducing nipping, minimizing barking in the crate, preventing chewing, and curbing jumping, etc.

  • Your puppy will stay with our trainer, Erin, in her urban family home, with a large fenced-in yard. Erin has worked with Aryhart Lake Doodles since its inception and has decades of experience training puppies. Erin's dog, Winston, one of our doodles, plays a vital role in socialization training for the puppies, demonstrating respectful play and helping them learn through example.

  • Yes, during the 4 week period, Erin will send progress updates in the form of photos and videos. At the end of the program, Erin will walk you through the training so you are equipped with the knowledge and skills you need to continue training on your own.

Testimonials

Hastings is doing great! He is sleeping in his crate, giving us about 7 hrs of sleep every night, and is letting us know when it is time for him to go out. You did a great job with him. THANK YOU !!!

Hastings is a wonderful puppy and makes us smile every day. Erin did a fantastic job training him. The crate training was remarkable as even now he actually seems to look forward to going to bed at night. We are so happy to have him in our lives.
